Role: Database Analyst | Department: Engineering - Software & QA | Industry: IT Services & Consulting | Education: UG: B.Tech / B.E. in Any Specialization; PG: Any Postgraduate We are seeking a highly skilled ServiceNow Developer with a strong focus on CMDB data analysis. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of ServiceNow ITSM and ITOM modules and be able to effectively design, develop, and maintain CMDB configurations. Key Responsibilities: CMDB Data Management: • Design, develop, and maintain CMDB configurations to ensure data accuracy and consistency. • Enrich CMDB data through automation and integration with other systems. • Analyze CMDB data to identify gaps and inconsistencies. • Implement data quality checks and validation rules. ITOM Process Automation: • Automate ITOM processes using ServiceNow workflows, scripts, and integrations. • Develop custom applications to enhance ITOM capabilities. • Optimize ITOM workflows to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort. ITSM Integration: • Integrate CMDB with other ITSM modules (Incident, Problem, Change, etc.) to enable seamless workflows. • Develop custom integrations to synchronize data between systems. Reporting and Analytics: • Create custom reports and dashboards to visualize CMDB data. • Analyze data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement. • Provide insights to IT operations teams to support decision-making. Problem Solving and Troubleshooting: • Troubleshoot CMDB and ITOM issues. • Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks. • Provide technical support to end-users. Required Skills and Qualifications: • 5+ years of experience in ServiceNow development. • Strong understanding of ServiceNow CMDB, ITOM, and ITSM modules. • Expertise in ServiceNow scripting (JavaScript, Script Includes, etc.). • Experience with ServiceNow workflows, business rules, and UI policies. • Knowledge of ITIL processes. • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Preferred Skills: • ServiceNow certifications (e.g., Certified Application Developer). • Experience with ServiceNow integration with other systems. • Knowledge of data modeling and database design.
